Why we do it

About 116 million Americans suffer from hypertension in 2023. This means almost 50 % of the adult population in the USA. Evidently high blood pressure is caused by multiple factors like smoking, alcohol, stress, a poor diet and lack of physical activity and proper sleep. In addition your genetics can play a big role as well.

In short the reports state that hypertension is the biggest risk factor for cardiovascular disease and affects almost 1.5 billion people on our planet. It kills almost 10 million people every year. Sad but true the numbers are growing year after year. In fact that is huge and we want to lower those numbers dramatically. It may not be you but your loved one who is affected.

Yet there is so much we can do to prevent complications like heart attacks or strokes. It should be highlighted that hypertension is not a death sentence if we acknowledge it.

Without a doubt dying from a heart condition  at a young age can be prevented. First and foremost we need  check our blood pressure and take action to keep it at bay. We want this site to be a reminder and also a place for you to find support and information that is plain and simple for you to understand.
